Through a lifetime of staying physically fit through various circus arts, group fitness/dance classes, one-on-one training, etc., and teaching pole fitness for 11+ years, I counterintuitively started feeling more and more imbalanced and uncomfortable in my own body. With a background in corrective exercise, I knew I was a master compensator (or a "natural" to the untrained eye), and in search of peeling back my layers of movement patterns, I found RYC®️! As my own journey leads me through never-ending exploration—from learning about the interconnectedness of all the body's systems to the principles of tai chi and the patterns of human development—I aim to teach with a variety of methods beyond typical fitness moves in order to help others better understand, feel, and appreciate their bodies. Whether working one-on-one or in a class, my sessions are focused on sparking curiosity, building awareness and movement efficiency, and empowering your whole self from inside to out!
