What’s the Best Pelvic Floor Certification for Professionals? Why More Experts Are Choosing RYC® Pro Training

What’s the Best Pelvic Floor Certification for Professionals? Why More Experts Are Choosing RYC® Pro Training
Restore Your Core®

If you’re a movement professional, physical therapist, occupational therapist, doula, or fitness instructor looking to deepen your expertise in pelvic floor and core rehabilitation, you’ve likely realized that many traditional trainings barely scratch the surface. They often rely on outdated models, oversimplified protocols, and a narrow view of what pelvic floor healing actually requires – often “spot treating” symptoms rather than addressing full-body movement patterns and root-cause dysfunction.

The RYC® Professional Training by Restore Your Core®, created by pelvic floor movement specialist Lauren Ohayon, is quickly becoming a top choice for professionals ready to move beyond textbook kegels and confidently support clients with complex core and pelvic floor conditions. The RYC® Method is recommended by Medical Doctors, OBGyns, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists, and other Health and Wellness Professionals.

Why Traditional Certifications Fall Short

Most yoga, pilates, and even rehab-focused certifications offer limited tools for addressing pelvic floor dysfunction. They tend to:

  • Focus heavily on “engagement” without teaching reflexive strength
  • Ignore the role of the nervous system in healing
  • Promote a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Focus on isolation over full body work
  • Rely on prescriptive exercises like kegels, TVA holds, or abdominal bracing

Lauren Ohayon developed the RYC® Method after realizing that none of the trainings she took truly prepared her to meet the pelvic floor and core needs of her clients in a way that honored the whole person in front of her.

What was missing? A comprehensive lens to see how breath, pressure, alignment, movement patterns, and the nervous system all work together. Most trainings teach pelvic floor work in isolation – a list of cues or protocols to memorize. But real healing happens when you understand how the whole body works together and how to adapt to the unique patterns of each client. RYC® Pro Training gives you the framework, tools, and confidence to assess what’s actually happening and respond with precision – not guesswork.

Anyone who works with bodies and wants to deepen their knowledge of pelvic floor and core support

Yes. The Restore Your Core® Method is recommended by Medical Doctors, OBGyns, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists, and other Health and Wellness Professionals.

You’ll be equipped to support a wide range of clients experiencing pelvic floor and core dysfunction – from mild symptoms to complex, long-standing issues. This includes clients dealing with diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, hypertonic pelvic floor, incontinence, and post-surgical or postpartum core dysfunction. You’ll also be prepared to work with perimenopausal and menopausal clients navigating core instability, hormonal shifts, and changing movement capacity.

Whether your clients are newly postpartum, decades past childbirth, or have never given birth at all, you’ll have the tools to meet them where they are, assess their individual patterns, and confidently guide them through the healing process. This training empowers you to address the root cause of symptoms – not just manage them – through the lens of whole-body movement, nervous system regulation, and client-led discovery.
