The next step after the Professional Training

The Professional Training taught you the full RYC® Method.

The Advanced Movement Practitioner Certification qualifies you to deliver it: lead RYC® group classes, and run RYC® sessions in your own practice. Over three months, you will explore practice teaching and adapting the RYC® exercises with guidance from a certified RYC® Teacher, deep dive the RYC® curriculum and templates, and finish certified to do it all under the RYC® name, using RYC® branding.

This certification is not offered to the public. Only RYC® Professional Training students and graduates are eligible to join, because everything in it builds on the RYC® Professional training. You have spent months immersed in the method. You hold a depth of understanding of the core and pelvic floor that many movement professionals never get access to. The AMP is where that understanding becomes something you deliver with confidence: in classes, sessions or your clinic.

This year, we have included your 2027 Pro Collective Membership in the price of the certification.

What you will walk away with

More than anything, this certification is built to give you confidence, clarity and credibility.

By the end of the three months, you will:

  • Know the main RYC® exercises in working detail: how to cue them, the planes of movement, the compensations that show up in real bodies, and how to progress or regress each one for the person in front of you.

  • Have a five-week RYC® series you can teach, along with class outlines and templates for building your own RYC®-led classes.

  • Be able to adapt the work to pregnant clients, including movement sequences specific to birth preparation.

  • Be equipped to adapt the work to larger bodies, with specific practice in what to consider when working with them.

  • Be confident making adaptations respectfully for modest, religious, and culturally diverse clients, while maintaining the depth of the work.

  • Have practiced adapting RYC® exercises for chair-based practice.

  • Have workshopped how to apply RYC® exercise principles to a range of presentations and common client scenarios.

  • Have practiced teaching RYC® exercises with a certified RYC® Teacher, and understand the nuances of teaching them in both 1:1 and group class settings.

  • Hold RYC® Certified Teacher / Practitioner status, with access to RYC® logos, templated flyers, and marketing materials, and the right to teach RYC® classes and series, and run RYC® sessions, under the brand guidelines.

About the implement calls

Four implement calls sit at the centre of the practical months, and they are the heart of this certification: small groups of 6–7 students, real teaching, and structured feedback from a certified RYC® Teacher every time you step up. In the first three, you teach an exercise from the RYC® library and receive structured feedback. In the fourth, you adapt an exercise for a specific population: a pregnant person, a larger body, or a change of orientation, like teaching down dog for someone who can only lie on their back. An interactive workshop where you engage with a range of common client scenarios is part of the call sequence. We also cater for our global student base by offering a wide range of times to choose from to accommodate all time zones.

What’s included

Four live implement calls with a certified RYC® Teacher, with structured feedback on your teaching.

Detailed overviews and recorded video breakdowns of all core RYC® exercises, with expert cueing guidance, common compensations to watch for, and clear progressions and regressions to meet every body where it is.

Ready-to-use class outlines and templates for structuring and leading your own RYC® sessions, including scaled, chair and regressed class formats.

A complete class series, ready for you to teach online or in your community. This can also be adapted to create shorter or longer series depending on your preferences.

Videos and templates for outlet, inlet, and mid-pelvis work, for use with clients preparing for birth.

Dedicated content and guided practice in adapting RYC® exercises for pregnant clients, larger bodies, chair-based work, and modest, religious, and culturally diverse clients, with a full implement call devoted to adapting an exercise for a specific population.

Submit and receive feedback for hands-on practice with adapting RYC® exercises.

Professionally developed assessment templates to support your work with individual clients.

Participate in live classes across the three months to deepen your understanding of delivery, pacing, and the full class experience. Live classes are not mandatory if you can’t attend, and recordings will be provided.

Dedicated pre-recorded content covering the art and structure of teaching an exceptional RYC® class from start to finish.

A full suite of RYC® branded materials: templated flyers, logos, a networking checklist, and an introductory letter to help you promote RYC® in your community.

The program closes with a celebratory coffee morning and Certification Call to mark your certification and welcome you into the RYC® teaching community.

You’ve already trained in the method professionally.

Certification places you in the innermost circle of RYC®:

FAQ

Got questions?

Anyone who has completed the RYC® Professional Training, or is currently enrolled in it. Your 2027 Pro Collective membership is included in the price for this introductory year. If you have previously certified through the Teacher Training, you are welcome to return, and discounted pricing will apply.

Yes. The 2026 Professional Training finishes in February 2027, and the AMP begins in March. The timing is designed so you can move directly from one into the other. You will need to meet the requirements of the 2026 Professional Training in order to be able to begin this course, but you will be well supported to do so and you can sign up now.

As an RYC® Certified Teacher or RYC® Certified Practitioner (the title is yours to choose), you can teach RYC® group classes and run RYC® sessions using RYC® branding, in line with the brand guidelines. You receive access to RYC® logos, templates, and branded marketing materials, and your teaching carries the RYC® name.

Yes. Month 1 includes dedicated content on teaching pregnant clients and larger bodies, and the certification includes prenatal movement sequences specific to birth preparation. The fourth implement call asks you to adapt an exercise for a specific population, so adaptation is something you practice with feedback during the certification itself.

The Professional Training develops your understanding of the RYC® Method: the assessments, the exercises, and the whole-system lens behind them. The AMP is about delivering it: teaching RYC® classes, or guiding and prescribing the work inside your own practice. It gives you the class curriculum, the templates, the supervised practice, and the certification to lead RYC® classes and sessions under the RYC® name.

Yes. Certification is not only for class teachers. Many RYC® pros are physios, occupational therapists, and clinicians who prescribe and guide RYC® exercises 1:1 rather than teach them in a class. The implement calls, the assessment templates, and the adaptation practice are built for that work too, and you can choose the RYC® Certified Practitioner title if it fits your practice better.

Month 1 is self-paced. Months 2 and 3 include the live classes, four implement calls, and your practice teaching hours.

$999 for the full certification. This includes your 2027 Pro Collective membership ($220 annually). Discounted pricing for returning certified teachers is planned.
