I’m Claire, I’ve been teaching yoga since 2007 and certified as an RYC® teacher in 2017. I had diastasis recti after both of my pregnancies and when I discovered RYC® it was the one program that really helped me move through my fears of making things worse and empowered me with more confidence. I was meeting many women who were slipping through the net, not being examined or seen by the right people post-birth and so I specialised in supporting women with their recoveries, integrating new movements into my classes, and changed the way I taught and practised yoga.
I now work with women from postnatal recovery to post-menopause and offer a range of movement classes to support women’s health alongside teaching Restore Your Core. I enjoy blending clear guided instruction and creative sequencing with space for self-enquiry and exploration. I’ve always been drawn to dynamic movement, but equally love and value quiet, somatic, and restorative practices. After having two babies in my forties and finding myself in menopause four years later, I was drawn to and have studied practices that focus more on down training the nervous system.
Currently, my focus is coaching RYC® clients on a 1-2-1 basis both online and in person, but I also teach group classes and workshops out of my hometown in Brighton, UK.
