I’m Kristin. Movement has always been an integral part of my life- the source of so much joy, expression, and transformation. My first love was dance, and I continue to take modern/contemporary classes and seek out social dance opportunities in Argentine Tango and Swing. Drawn to yoga in 2000 for its beautiful movement practice in attention and awareness, I followed my immersion studies and completed a 200 hour teacher training. When I became pregnant with my first child, I was amazed and supported by the power of yoga in childbirth (and parenting!) that I went on to complete a prenatal yoga teacher training.
After the birth of my second child, I noticed significant changes to my pelvic floor functioning, and I felt quite alone in this new body. This launched me into a study of the pelvic floor and body biomechanics. One more baby girl later and I was devoted to learning and studying everything about core & pelvic floor healing, mobility, and strength. I completed the Restore Your Core program in 2023, and I’m feeling better, stronger, and empowered with awareness.
I love how RYC invites us inward with curiosity and kindness. Discovering our patterns of movement and how they impact our function, strength, mobility and healing is truly empowering and transformative work. I believe that healing is possible, and this whole-body approach is a beautiful path to core and pelvic floor healing, strength and connection. I feel so grateful to work with people in 1-1 sessions and to teach group classes. My wish is for this work to be more and more widely known so that anyone needing this support and education can get it. I teach in English; and one day, I hope to teach in French, too :)
