Hello, I am Lindsey Compton and I am a lecturer in genetics at the University of Birmingham, UK. My research involves unravelling the relationships between genetic and environmental factors and the roles they play in complex characters such as disease resistance or stress tolerance in crops. After having children, RYC has taken me on a fascinating journey exploring the equally complex relationships between environmental and movement patterns we experience and how these show up in characteristic issues such as back pain, diastasis recti, or other expressions of core system imbalance. I am passionate about supporting people in their own transformational journeys towards moving better and feeling better in their own bodies.
