Rifka Saul

Beit Shemesh Jerusalem, Israel

A dear friend referred me to RYC® during the first Covid lockdown in 2020. Diagnosed with encephalitis, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, severe spinal stenosis, and motor radiculopathy, I was reliant on physical therapies for pain relief and basic movement. After a successful career in education and social services spanning more than two decades, I found myself disabled, shut in, and terrified.

The RYC® FB community and online program became my lifelines. I had no idea how or why, but for the first time in years, movement wasn’t excruciating, and I had permission to feel clumsy and curious. Things shifted right away, and I knew I needed to understand more. When I contacted Lauren about the Teacher Training, I didn’t think I’d qualify with all my challenges, and I’ll never forget her telling me, “You can teach RYC® from a wheelchair!” I sent up a silent prayer that I’d never get to a wheelchair (I was already teetering with a cane and considering transitioning to a walker) . I registered shortly after that call, and never looked back.

After completing the RYC® teacher training, I went on to certify as an RYT 200 yoga instructor, holistic mind-body healing practitioner and medical intuitive. Today, I teach movement and healing online and in my studio in Beit Shemesh, Israel.
