About Julie Middleton
My mission as a RYC teacher is to support people who are looking to explore their breath, posture, and movement patterns while deepening their connection with their body-self in order to experience less pain, fewer core and pelvic floor symptoms, and to create more overall strength, functionality and ease in their daily lives.
I was drawn to the RYC 12 week online program in 2017, when my oldest was about 1.5 years old. I was experiencing some core and pelvic floor symptoms that I wanted more support with than I was able to find on my own. Since then, I have been reaching for RYC and the other RYC related programs as favorite tools for whole BEing support and healing.
When I first heard that Lauren was teaching a certification program for RYC teachers, I knew that I was going to pursue it at some point. I am thrilled that I was able to join the fall 2025 cohort of students, with my certification completed in April of 2026.
The teacher training program was a powerful growth experience as I learned new tools for supporting others in connecting with their body-self through intentional, curious, and playful practices designed to increase core and pelvic floor functionality in relationship to the whole person.
Each session and movement class I am honored to facilitate is a beautifully unique experience of increasing strength, resilience, connection with self, and nervous system co-regulation between myself and those I am guiding. It is a truly collaborative experience!
