I’m a mum of two adorable boys, 8 years and 5 years, who have made me challenge my comfort zone! During my journey of healing my diastasis recti and stress incontinence, I realized how important it is to be mindful about our body and movement. Although the journey wasn’t perfectly smooth, I have learned to respect my body and empathize with others without judgement. Before I realized, my journey became my passion and I decided to leave my corporate career of 15+ years to pursue being a RYC® movement teacher and a fitness coach. I help my clients build functional strength, and become more aware of their bodies, their movement patterns, and apply what they learn in their sessions to their day-to-day activities. One of my clients recently said, “I feel much stronger and I don’t think I am even burning so many calories!”. As Lauren always says, my focus is strength rather than size! I enjoy playing badminton with my kids and learning Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form – oh, I don’t forget to apply RYC® concepts in these activities too! A fun-fact – I’m the first RYC® teacher in India and Asia!
